We recently had the pleasure of completing a stunning kitchen installation project in Redditch for a client who loved their existing layout but felt the space was ready for a fresh new look. The goal was clear: retain the functionality while upgrading the style, storage, and flow of the room to give a more open feel.
Our customer approached us knowing that the overall layout of their kitchen already worked well for them -all they needed was a refresh with new cabinetry, doors, and worktops. To help open up the space and give the kitchen a more modern feel, we suggested switching out the overhead extractor fan for a built-in hob extractor. This simple change made a big difference, giving the room a more open and streamlined appearance.
Our client opted for the Series 4 vented hob, which we supplied, offering both style and practicality in one neat solution.
To elevate the worktops, they selected Spectra Cotswold Oak square-edge surfaces, including a made-to-measure special order for an extra-deep worktop — a perfect fit for both aesthetic appeal and everyday functionality.
When it came to the doors, our client selected the Helmsley style from our signature collection one of our most in-demand choices this year. This door is featured in a blissful denim blue display in our showroom, this for is loved for its beautifully classic in-frame shaker appearance, Helmsley offers all the timeless character of a traditional design without the cost or limitations of true in-frame cabinetry. The result is a kitchen that feels refined and elegant, yet perfectly suited to modern living.
The final colour palette paired warm Oakgrain Mussel doors with coordinating Lancaster Oak carcasses, creating a soft, natural look that adds depth and warmth to the space. Every cabinet is crafted using glue and dowel construction for superior strength, with durable ABS edging to protect against everyday wear and tear. This ensures the kitchen doesn’t just look stunning on day one, but continues to perform beautifully for many years to come — combining style, resilience and long-lasting quality in equal measure.
