For this stunning installation, our clients wanted a kitchen that felt classic yet fresh, with natural tones and high-quality finishes that would stand the test of time. The result is a beautifully balanced space that blends traditional design elements with modern touches, all expertly designed, supplied, and installed by our in-house team.
A Timeless Shaker Kitchen Design
At the heart of this project is our 5-piece shaker kitchen, Cartmel, finished in the ever-popular Mussel tone. Shaker kitchens are a staple of modern country style kitchens thanks to their clean lines and versatile design. The Cartmel door adds subtle detailing, giving the space character without overpowering the overall aesthetic.
The Mussel finish brings a soft, neutral warmth to the room, making it ideal for creating a light and airy feel. It pairs perfectly with both traditional and modern elements, allowing homeowners to personalise their space while maintaining that classic country look.
Premium Worktops and Finishing Touches
To complement the cabinetry, we installed 30mm quartz worktops, adding a luxurious yet durable surface that’s perfect for busy family life. Quartz is a popular choice in modern country style kitchens as it offers the beauty of natural stone with the practicality of low maintenance and long-lasting performance.
A standout feature in this kitchen is the Franke Vital filter tap, which combines sleek design with everyday convenience. Not only does it enhance the overall look of the space, but it also provides filtered water directly from the tap perfect for modern living.
Every detail in this kitchen was carefully considered to ensure a cohesive and high-end finish, from the layout and storage solutions to the choice of fixtures and fittings.

Bringing the Outdoors In
One of the key design elements of modern country style kitchens is the connection to nature. In this Worcestershire home, we focused on bringing the outdoors in to create a calming and inviting environment.
Natural tones, soft textures, and a neutral colour palette all play a role in achieving this look. The Mussel cabinetry works beautifully alongside natural light, helping to reflect brightness throughout the space. Paired with organic materials and subtle styling, the kitchen feels effortlessly connected to its surroundings.
This approach not only enhances the aesthetic but also creates a space that feels relaxing and timeless perfect for both entertaining and everyday living.
A Functional and Stylish Boot Room Area
As part of this project, we also designed and installed a practical boot room area within the kitchen space. Boot rooms are becoming an increasingly popular addition in modern country style kitchens, offering a dedicated area for storage and organisation.
This bespoke boot room was designed to seamlessly blend with the kitchen, using the same Cartmel Mussel finish for a cohesive look. It provides the perfect solution for storing coats, shoes, and everyday essentials, helping to keep the main kitchen area clutter-free.
Not only does the boot room add functionality, but it also enhances the overall flow of the space. It’s a great example of how thoughtful design can improve both the practicality and appearance of a home.
